The BMW 6 Series has long been known for its luxury feel, premium touches, and to-die-for styling. Now, we get to see what the 2015 model has in store for us—we’re betting much of the same, but better! The redesigned BMW 6 Series recently showed its pretty face to the public, along with some juicy details that had us salivating and anticipating the arrival of the sedan to our showroom in 2015.
Redesigned BMW 6 Series

The first thing you’ll notice is a restyled front end that features a new grille with nine slats rather than the usual 10. Reshaped adaptive full-LED headlights are now standard across all trim levels. Additionally, a suite of new color choices are available, including Cashmere Silver metallic, Jatoba metallic, Mediterranean Blue metallic, Melbourne Red metallic, and Glacier Silver metallic.
Under the hood, things remain the same as in the 2014 model, but that is no bad thing. The 640i is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine that’s good for 315 horsepower, while the 650i comes with a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 that pumps out 445 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, and all-wheel-drive is optional.
Inside the redesigned BMW 6 Series, you’ll find subtle differences like high-gloss black trim on the center console; LED lighting; and standard features like navigation, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, dynamic cruise control, and heated side mirrors. Leather seats are also standard, with the option to upgrade to Nappa leather two-tone options like Ivory White/ Black, and Cognac/Black.
