BMW has been busy winning awards and making their customers happy, and J.D. Power and Associates took notice. The Automotive Performance and Layout Study (APEAL) compares satisfaction levels of car buyers in North America. J.D. Power and Associates look at customer surveys given three months after vehicle registration and determine their level of satisfaction.
The APEAL study measures the satisfaction levels that vehicle buyers experience after purchasing a new vehicle. According to the survey, BMW makes vehicles that please. The BMW 5 Series range, BMW X3, and BMW Z4 all came out as winners of their specific vehicle segment.
Four other models from the BMW Group placed in the top three of their individual categories. The BMW 7 Series, which came in second in its segment, achieved the second-highest individual score out of all the vehicles judged in the APEAL survey. This success made the BMW 7 Series the top European model among the competition.
BMW had the most segment winners out of all of the auto manufacturers in the APEAL survey, placing BMW at third for its overall ranking.
