BMW has released images of the latest version of the X6, the automaker’s sports activity coupe. The 2013 X6 has received minor updates and will be offered with a new M Performance Package.
The X6’s updates start on the front fascia, where the kidney grille now resembles the new 3 and 5 Series models. BMW’s twin headlight look is now included on the crossover and LED lights have been added as an option. In the rear, the X6’s headlights have also been updated to offer LED and are larger than before. New exterior paint options will also be available.
Under the hood, the 2013 X6 will keep with twin turbocharged inline-six and V8 options, but the M Performance Package will add 15 more horsepower to the inline-six and 40 more to the V8. Although the interior of the sports activity coupe remains relatively the same, new leather upholstery and a 3-seat bench will both be available as options.
The power boost is not the only benefit to adding the M Performance Package to the crossover. Other features included in the upgrade are black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals, a Carbon Black metallic paint option, and 20-inch wheels.
The new X6 is expected to arrive at dealerships this spring. Current X6 inventory can be found online at http://www.unionparkbmw.com/New-Inventory.aspx.
